The William Smith soccer team continues its three-game homestand on Wednesday, Oct. 1, when it welcomes Ithaca to Cozzens Field. The Liberty League contest is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Herons enter the match with a 5-2-2 overall record and 1-1-0 in conference play. The Herons began the homestand with a 4-0 win over Bard on Saturday.
Grace Metzler led the offensive charge, recording a goal and an assist in the win.

Ithaca is 3-3-2 overall. The Bombers dropped their league opener to Vassar 1-0 on Saturday. Katrina Varnum made 10 saves in goal for Ithaca.
