Herons welcome Hamilton for midweek clash

The William Smith ice hockey team will be back in action Tuesday, Jan. 13, when it welcomes Hamilton to The Cooler for a non-conference clash. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
 
The Herons are 7-5-0 this season and are looking to snap a two-game slide. On Friday, William Smith's comeback attempt fell just short as they were edged by fifth-ranked Nazareth 3-2. Finley Crosby and Laine Heiser had the William Smith goals.
 
Hamilton is 5-5-1. The Continentals were swept by 15th-ranked Colby over the weekend.
