#1 Hobart begins road trip at Fredonia, Buffalo State

The top-ranked Hobart hockey team will be back in action this weekend when it begins a four-game road trip. The Statesmen will head to Western New York to take on SUNYAC foes Fredonia and Buffalo State. Hobart takes on the Blue Devils on Friday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. and the Bengals on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 4 p.m.
 
The Statesmen enter the weekend with a 14-0-0 record, including a 7-0-0 mark in SUNYAC play. Hobart is coming off a 5-2 win over Cortland and an 8-1 victory over Morrisville last weekend.  
 
Fredonia is 1-10-1 with a 1-5-1 record in the SUNYAC. The Blue Devils are coming off a 1-0 loss to Potsdam on Saturday. Fredonia earned its first win of the season last Friday, beating Canton 6-4.
 
Buffalo State is 6-7-1 with a 3-3-1 mark in league play. The Bengals will host No. 5 Oswego on Friday.
