The top-ranked Hobart hockey team will host Cortland in a SUNYAC semifinal matchup on Saturday, Feb. 28 at The Cooler. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Tickets for Wednesday's game are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12 and children 5 and under are free. Students from any of the SUNYAC member schools are admitted free with a valid ID, including HWS students. Tickets will go on sale one hour before the opening faceoff.

The Statesman, who are the No. 1 seed, knocked off Fredonia 3-0 in the first round on Wednesday.

Cortland, which is the No. 4 seed, advanced to the semifinal round after a 2-0 win over SUNY Canton on Wednesday.

ABOUT THE STATESMEN (26-0-0)
- Sophomore Arvega Hovsepyan leads the Statesmen offense with 28 assists and 38 points. He is fourth in the nation in assists per game (1.08) and ninth in points per game (1.46).
- Senior captain Kahlil Fontana follows close behind with 37 points, including a team and league-high 19 goals. He is eighth in the nation in goals per game (0.73) and 12th in points per game (1.42).
- The Statesmen are first in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 5.50 goals per game. Hobart has 16 players who have recorded double-digit points this season, including four with 30-plus.
- Senior goalie Damon Beaver has the edge in minutes played. He is 16-0-0 with 1.01 GAA and a .949 save percentage. He is first in the nation in winning percentage and save percentage and second in GAA.

- Cortland's offense is led by Sam Christiano with 11 goals, 10 assists, and 21 points.
- Colby Seitz and Nathan Garnier are right behind him with 19 points and 18 points, respectively. Garnier has a team-high 15 assists. Seitz matches Christiano with 11 goals.
- Shane Shelest has played the majority of minutes in goal. He has a 2.17 GAA and a .910 save percentage.
