The top-ranked Hobart hockey team will host Oswego in the SUNYAC final matchup on Saturday, March 7 at The Cooler. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Tickets for Saturday's game are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12. Children 5 and under are free. Students from any of the SUNYAC member schools are admitted free with a valid ID, including HWS students. Tickets will go on sale one hour before the opening faceoff.

The Statesmen, who are the No. 1 seed, knocked off No. 4 Cortland 4-0 in the semifinal round last weekend to secure a spot in the title game.

Oswego, which is the No. 2 seed, advanced to the final round after a 6-3 win over No. 3 Skidmore.

ABOUT THE STATESMEN (27-0-0)
- Sophomore Arvega Hovsepyan leads the Statesmen offense with 30 assists and 41 points. He is fourth in the nation in assists per game (1.11) and ninth in points per game (1.52).
- Senior captain Kahlil Fontana follows close behind with 40 points, including a team and league-high 20 goals. He is eighth in the nation in goals per game (0.74) and 11th in points per game (1.48).
- Hovsepyan and Fontana are the first Hobart teammates to record 40 points in the same season in nearly three decades.
- The Statesmen are first in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 5.44 goals per game. Hobart has 16 players who have recorded double-digit points this season, including four with 30-plus.
- Senior goalie Damon Beaver has the edge in minutes played. He is 17-0-0 with 0.95 GAA, a .952 save percentage and six shutouts on the season. He is first in the nation in winning percentage, GAA, save percentage and shutouts.
- Hobart is first in the nation in scoring defense.

- Oswego's offense is led by Colin Vassallo with 15 goals, 13 assists and 28 points.
- Matt McQuade is right behind him with 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists.
- Travis Baker has a team-high 18 assists.
- Oswego has six players with 20-plus points. The Lakers are third in the nation in power-play percentage (.299) and 10th in the nation in scoring offense.
- Michael Manzi has played the majority of minutes in goal. He is 11-3-0 with a 2.09 GAA and a .918 save percentage.
