The 16th-ranked William Smith soccer team will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 19, when it continues a six-game road trip at New Paltz. The non-conference contest is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
 
The Herons are 4-1-0 on the season. William Smith is coming off a 2-0 victory over Geneseo on Wednesday. Senior Miranda DeMura and Aleena Solano scored for the Herons and senior Antonia Goerke had a shutout.

The Hawks enter the weekend with a 3-2-0 record. New Paltz is coming off a hard-fought 2-1 loss to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Wednesday.
