2008: All-Liberty League, honorable mention ... Earned Hobart football's Harter Family Award ... Started all 11 games ...  Finished fourth on the team with 54 tackles ... Led the team with 14 tackles for a loss and four forced fumbles ... Shared team-high honors with three sacks ... Made at least two tackles in each of the season's first 10 games before a first half injury cut short his efforts against Mount Union ... Registered a season-high nine tackles at Carnegie Mellon ... Recorded eight tackles against Union ... Made seven stops and an interception against Susquehanna ... Returned a blocked punt 32 yards for a touchdown at Rensselaer.

2006:  Played in 10 games … Recorded a stop in each of his first three outings … Supplied two tackles against Rowan in the NCAA Playoffs.

Johnson City High School: Three-year varsity letterman ... Played linebacker and quarterback ... Earned all-conference honors ... Named team MVP as a senior ... Selected team offensive MVP as a junior ... Also wrestled for the Wildcats ... Named all-conference.

Family Ties: Older brother, Nolan ’07, was a standout linebacker for the Statesmen and, like Ryan, served as a team captain.
