The John L. Brown '32 Memorial Award is presented annually to the member of the cross country team who has shown the most improvement during the season or throughout his career.  The award is named for former Hobart cross country and baseball coach, John Brown, and recognizes his dedication to sports and to young people.  The award has been endowed through the generous loyalty of Dr. Stergeos G. Arvantides '53.
