The S. Ford Weiskittel Rowing Award is presented to the Hobart oarsman who in his all-around performance, has proven to be most valuable to his team. The award has been endowed through the generous loyalty of Ford Weiskittel, who founded modern rowing at Hobart in 1982 after a lapse of nearly 100 years and who was the first coach of the team. (Previously named the Most Valuable Rower Award, 1998-2003)
