The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is an important leadership council comprised of student-athletes that provide insight and advocacy for improving the student-athlete experience at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and potentially beyond. The committee meets in-person once a month during the academic year focused on identifying and implementing student-athlete based initiatives that directly impact the student athlete experience. The directors of this council provide guidance to the SAAC members on how best to develop as effective and impactful agents of change ranging from topics around the SA experience at HWS to rules, regulations and policies at the institutional, conference and national levels. Each HWS athletic program has a designated team representative on the SAAC.
