Vincent Redmond

Redmond joined the coaching staff in the summer of 2022. He came to Hobart after spending the previous season as an assistant coach at William Peace University.

With the Pacers, Redmond worked as a hitting and outfield coach and was responsible for daily practice plans and the development of hitters. He also assisted in scheduling, helping with team travel, compiled scouting reports and assisted in summer ball placements. William Peace finished the year with a program record 23 wins and won its first postseason game. The Pacers had four players earn All-USA South honors.

Prior to his time with the Pacers, Redmond had stints as an assistant with Elon, Manhattan and UMass Lowell. With the Phoenix and the Jaspers, he also worked as a hitting and outfield coach. With the River Hawks, he was an infield coach and helped with hitting and base running. At Elon, he helped the team finish with a 33-24 overall record, The Phoenix captured the Colonial Athletic Association regular season championship. Redmond mentored 4 All-CAA selections and a MLB draft pick.

Redmond graduated from Le Moyne in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in political science. He also earned a master's degree from Le Moyne in education in 2014. Redmond was a three-year member of the Dolphins baseball team. In 2012, he helped LeMoyne capture the NE-10 Championship and advance to the regional finals of the NCAA tournament.  In 2013, Redmond NE-10 All-Conference third team selection and was named to the 2013 ABCA NCAA Division II East Region Gold Glove first team. He was named to the NE-10 Commissioner's honor roll twice.
