    Receivers Coach
John Fasano returns to Hobart for a fifth straight season, trading in his pads and helmet for a coach’s clipboard. The former wideout will work with the Statesmen receivers.

The three-year letter winner appeared in 37 career games and produced 60 receptions for 797 yards and five touchdowns. As a senior, he ranked fourth in the Liberty League in all-purpose yards with 914, including a career-high six receptions for a career-high 79 yards and a touchdown against sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins in the second round of the NCAA playoffs. Fasano pulled in at least two passes in every game during his senior year.

Fasano and his classmates compiled a 41-5 record, the most wins for a graduating class in program history. He was a member of four Liberty League Championship winning teams and helped Hobart advance to the 2012 and 2014 NCAA quarterfinals.

A native of Clyde, N.Y., Fasano graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in movement science.
