Ryan Ballard joined the Statesmen coaching staff prior to the start of the 2015 season as the outside linebackers coach.
A native of Dundee, N.Y., Ballard comes to Hobart after graduating from St. John Fisher College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in December. He was a four-year member of the Cardinals’ football team. A defensive back, Ballard finished second on the team with 75 tackles as a senior, including a season-high 17 against Salisbury. A team captain, Ballard earned D3football.com All-East honors in 2014. He finished his career with 164 tackles, 13 pass breakups, three interceptions, and two sacks.
Ballard also works for the Steuben County Soil and Water Conservation District.
