Hofmann joins the Hobart coaching staff for the 2021 season as an offensive skill assistant coach.

Hofmann was a three-year letter winner as a Statesman quarterback. In 25 career games, he completed 56 percent of his passes for 4,080 yards and 41 touchdowns. Hofmann graduated fourth on Hobart's career list in touchdown passes and fifth in passing yards and pass completions.

As a senior, Hofmann led the Statesmen to a 9-2 overall record, including a 30-10 victory at Cortland in the New York State Bowl. Earlier that year, he threw for a career-high 380 yards and a pair of TDs in Hobart’s win over Rowan. Hofmann earned All-Liberty League honorable mention as a junior after he led the conference in pass efficiency (149.2) and yards per pass (7.85). He tied the Hobart record for TD passes in a game with six in the 2018 win over Morrisville State.
 
In addition to coaching, Hofmann is an assistant director of admissions at Hobart and William Smith. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
