Moore joined the HWS Sports Medicine staff in August of 2022.

Moore comes to HWS from Youngstown State University where she earned a master’s degree in athletic training in May. She completed a capstone project in the comparison of concussion protocols in high collision sports. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Youngstown and associates degrees in kinesiology and social and behavioral science from Butte College.
 
During her three years at Youngstown, Moore worked with multiple sports. She spent her last semester working with the Penguins’ baseball team. Moore created and implemented arm care protocol for pitchers, assisted with injury prevention and evaluation of athletes and assisted with physician clinics on campus. She also worked with the men’s and women’s basketball and football teams.  
 
As a student aide at Youngstown, Moore assisted with rehabilitation plans for athletes aided and followed emergency action plans and assisted dietitians with nutritional duties for all football events.
 
As a student at Bute College, Moore assisted with the Roadrunners' football, baseball and softball teams.
 
In addition to her work at Youngstown, Moore spent time working with the Youngstown Phantoms junior hockey team. She administered ImPACT and SCAT-5 for baseline and post-concussion testing. Moore also worked closely with the team’s physicians during games. She also gained experience working with local high schools.
 
Moore is a member of the National Athletic Training Association.
