Fiorentino joined the Hobart College ice hockey staff prior to the start of the 2018-19 season.
In his first four seasons,, Fiorentino has helped the Statesmen to a 90 -21-7 overall record with four berths n the NCAA tournament, including a national championship in 2023. He has mentored two All-Americans (Jonah Alexander '24 and Luke Aquaro'25), 16 All-NEHC selections and two USCHO.com All-Rookie team pick.
In 2022-23, he helped Hobart to a program record 29-2-0 record, The Statesmen won their final 12 games of the season, including a 3-2 overtime win over Adrian in the national championship game. Hobart went 16-2-0 in NEHC play, capturing their second regular season title. The Statesmen finished the year with a program record 1.14 GAA and a .947 save percentage. The 37 goals allowed this year are the fewest in program history.
In 2019-20, Hobart was 20-5-3 including a 12-4-2 mark in NEHC play. The Statesmen were second in the conference and advanced to the title game of the NEHC tournament for the third straight year. Hobart earned a bid to the NCAA tournament for the sixth straight year and finished the season ranked 6th in the USCHO.com poll.
In his first season, Fiorentino helped Hobart to a 21-8-2 overall record and a 11-5-2 mark in the NEHC. The Statesmen finished second in the conferenece and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. Hobart advanced to the national semifinals where they were edged by the eventual national champions, Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The Statesmen finished the year ranked 5th in the USCHO.com poll.
Fiorentino was a four-year member of the Hobart hockey team. He served as a captain in his senior season. Fiorentino earned a spot on the ECAC West All-Academic Team three years in a row. He was presented with Hobart hockey’s Holden Award for sportsmanship, character and leadership. Following his Statesmen hockey career, he played with Les Phenix de Reims of the 1st Division of the professional hockey league in France. Fiorentino led his team in goals and ranked in the top 20 in the league in points. Following two seasons in France, he spent two season in the Southern Professional Hockey League, playing for the Evansville Thunderbolts, the Pensacola Ice Flyers and the Fayetteville Marksmen.
