2007: Statesmen Scholar ... Played in 14 games ... Finished eighth in the nation in ground balls per game (5.5) ... Led the Statesmen with 77 GBs ... Collected a season-high 11 GBs against Bucknell ... Scooped up nine GBs against Canisius ... Scored twice and picked up eight ground balls against Rutgers ... Scored man-down at top-ranked Cornell. 

2006: Played in 13 games ... Ranked second on the team, fourth in the ECAC, and 27th in the nation in ground balls ... Picked up at least one ground ball in every game he played ... Collected a season-high nine GBs in a win over St. John’s ... Grabbed eight loose balls the following week against Loyola ... Notched his first collegiate point, an assist, in win over Ohio State ... Scored his first goal a week later against Hartford. 

Avon Old Farms School: Coached by Ted Garber ... Four-time varsity letterman ... Named All-American, All-New England, and Team MVP after leading his team to a share of the Founders League championship ... Selected to play in the North-South and New England All-Star games ... Also played hockey for the Winged Beavers ... Inducted into the Order of Old Farms, the school’s highest honor.
