    Assistant Coach

Jack Burgasser joined the Hobart soccer coaching staff prior to the start of the 2011 season. His main responsibility will be training the goalkeepers.

Last season, Burgasser helped guide Hobart to a 10-6-0 overall record and their seventh consecutive winning season. He served as a volunteer assistant coach with the Statesmen for the 2011 season. He helped the Golden Eagles to the 2009 SUNYAC Championship and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. While at Brockport, Burgasser coached third team all-america goalkeeper, Joe Marino, who was later drafted by the Rochester Rhinos.

Burgasser has also coached at the youth soccer level for the last three years with Empire United Soccer Academy Rochester, working with boys U-16 and U-17 teams. With the Empire United Soccer Academy, he won a US Club Soccer National Championship in 2010 and a New York State West Cup title in 2011.

Burgasser holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) "D" License and an NSCAA Goalkeeper Level II Diploma.

Burgasser served as a team captain in his senior season at The College of Brockport. He graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in biology.
