Mallon joined the Hobart College tennis staff in March of 2021 in a part-time role that he will fulfill while also working at Cornell AgriTech in Geneva.
A four-year member of the tennis team, Mallon compiled a 25-15 career singles record and an 8-7 mark in doubles play. A captian as a senior, he won D flight singles at the 2019 SLU Fall Classic. Mallon posted a career-high 11 matches as a first-year and was named the Rookie of the Week twice. He was presented with the William A. Walley '61 Tennis Award in 2020.
Mallon graduated in 2020 with a degree in English. He was an ITA Scholar Athlete and won the Milton H.Turk Memorial Prize in English and Comparative Literature in his senior year.
