Caroline Grosso joined the Heron lacrosse coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach at the start of the 2017 season.
Grosso is currently pursuing her doctorate of chiropractic and applied nutrition from the New York Chiropractic College. She was a two-year member of the Syracuse University lacrosse team. A defender, Grosso played in 20 games for the Orange and was a three-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. Prior to transferring to Syracuse, Grasso attended Niagara University, where she played for two years on the soccer and lacrosse teams. Grosso earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and rhetorical studies from Syracuse in May of 2015.
Grosso served as the graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach as well as the volunteer men’s lacrosse faceoff coach at Castleton University for the 2015-16 academic year. Her coaching experience also includes time as a strength and conditioning intern at Syracuse, Niagara and Binghamton and working at Gary Gait Inc. in 2014.
In addition, she coached a women’s lacrosse travel team for grades 9-11 in Endwell, N.Y., and served as the Chenango Forks High School assistant varsity lacrosse coach for a year and a half.
Currently, Grosso works as a health and fitness instructor at the New York Chiropractic College and as a chiropractic assistant at the Carolina Sports Clinic.
