Connolly joined the William Smith lacrosse coaching staff as a part-time assistant coach at the start of the 2019 season.
Connolly was a four-year member of the Heron lacrosse team, graduating from William Smith in 2016. She will help out the Herons while finishing her class work at SUNY Upstate Medical in Syracuse.
A two-time all-Liberty League selection, Connolly earned first team honors as a senior, leading the team with 37 goals and 52 points. She added 15 assists, 14 ground balls and six caused turnovers that year.
Connolly played in 64 games during her Heron career. She had 113 goals, 53 assists and 166 points. Connolly is 20th on William Smith's career goals list and 17th on the career points list.
