Robyn Carroll joined the Herons as a part-time assistant coach at the start of the 2017 season.
Carroll comes to William Smith after graduating from SUNY Canton in January of 2017. She was a four-year member of the Roos’ lacrosse team. The ECAC Offensive Player of the Year finished her career with 225 points on 176 goals and 49 assists. Carroll was a two-time ECAC First Team All-Star. She was also a four-year member of the volleyball team, earning USCAA All-American honors in 2014 and 2015 and garnering a spot on the ECAC All-Star second team. In addition, Carroll was named SUNY Canton’s Athlete of the Year in 2015.
Carroll served as a member of SAAC during her four years at Canton. She was involved in Special Olympics programming and Habitat for Humanity, as well as, the “Roos Give Back” program. Carroll was also chosen to attend the Team Canada training camp for the 2017 World Cup Lacrosse Team.
Carroll earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration. During her time in Canton, Carroll assisted the athletic department with game day operations and worked in the fitness center. She also helped organize the SUNY Canton Tee Off Classic and the RUSH Hockey Brampton Showcase.
