Smith will serve as the graduate assistant while pursuing a master’s degree at the Colleges. He graduated in May from St. John Fisher with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.
During his last semester at St. John Fisher, Smith had an internship as an assistant equipment manager for the Cardinal’s athletic department. He assisted with the preparation of facilities for games, team laundry and helped to repair equipment as needed. Before transferring to St. John Fisher, Smith spent a semester shadowing the athletic trainers at the Massachusetts College of Liberal arts.
Smith was on St. John Fisher’s soccer team for one season, starting seven games in goal.
