Prince joined the HWS Equipment staff in August of 2022.
Prince comes to HWS after spending the last year as an assistant equipment manager at the University of Albany. With the Great Danes, he worked primarily with the men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer and women’s basketball teams, ordering equipment and gear. In addition, he helped provide support for fitting football as well as decaling, fixing and daily maintenance on helmets. Prince worked with coaching staffs to design uniforms and order team gear.
Prior to his stint at Albany, Prince was an equipment intern for the Buffalo Bills for three seasons. During his time in Orchard Park, he led a crew of three interns that would assist in field setup and take down for games, provide support to coaches and athletes regarding equipment needs and prepare the footballs for practice and games. Prince and the interns would also help prepare and manage game day and practice gear for the team and staff.
Prince graduated from SUNY Brockport with a bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2017 and a master’s degree in athletic administration. As a student, he was a member of the Golden Eagles’ football team and worked as part of the facility and operations team.
