Margarita Rincon is entering her fourth season as the diving coach for William Smith.
Rincon helped the Herons finish the 2017-18 season with an 8-2 record.
In 2015-16, under Rincon, Therese Mandracchia posted an 11 dive score of 434.10 on the 1-meter board breaking a school record by 17 points. The score was also a NCAA qualifying score. In 2016-17, Mandracchia broke a Cazenovia pool record with an 11 dive score of 394.90 on the one meter-board.
Rincon, a former competitive diver, has served as the boys varsity diving coach at Marcus Whitman Central School since 2011. This season, two of her divers finished in the top 10 on the 1-meter board at the Section V Class C Swimming Championships, including a third place finish.
Rincon earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Rochester Institute of Technology and an associate's degree from Finger Lakes Community College in graphic design.
