Assistant coach Lisa Salter joined the William Smith tennis staff in the spring of 2009. She took over the position vacated by longtime assistant Len DeFrancesco ’56, who retired after the fall 2008 season.
Salter earned a doctorate in ethics from the University of Chicago in 2002. She also completed masters’ degrees in social work (University at Buffalo, 2002) and economics (Duke University, 1989), and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at The College of William and Mary in 1988.
Salter previously worked at Hobart and William Smith as a counselor and as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Religious Studies. Salter is currently a clinical social worker in Geneva.
