Rich Lenhart joined the William Smith tennis coaching staff prior to the start of the 2010-11 season. No stranger to HWS, he previously served as an assistant coach for the Hobart tennis program for 12 seasons.
Lenhart holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oswego and a master’s degree from Shenandoah (Virginia) University. For 25 years, he taught mathematics, computer technology, and social studies at St. Michael School in Newark, New York.
A former Section V Class B doubles champion, Lenhart co-captained the 1983 Potsdam State and the 1984 Oswego State men’s tennis teams. He is a resident of Lyons, New York.
