Julianna Tyler

Tyler provides the Herons and Statesmen with injury rehabilitation and prevention treatment as an orthopaedic physical therapist. She specializes in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation, running assessments, return to sport testing and manual therapies.

Tyler is a New York State licensed physical therapist, a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist, an APTA certified clinical instructor and a certified kinesio tape practitioner. Since 2003, she has worked in the outpatient department at Garnsey Rehabilitation Center at Geneva General Hospital. In 2017, Tyler completed the Advisory Board Leadership Program for Finger Lakes Health.

Tyler has provided ACL injury prevention education to local high school athletes. She is a member of the Finger Lakes Health education committee, planning continuing education classes for healthcare professionals.

Tyler's work with the Colleges' student-athletes was recognized with the 2021 William Smith SAAC Staff Appreciation Award.

Tyler has a bachelor's degree in health science and a master's degree in physical therapy from Nazareth College.
