A four-year member of the rowing team, Teleki competed with Hobart’s top three boats during his career. In his first two seasons, he won a bronze medal with the 3V8 at the National Invitational Rowing Championships. Teleki competed at the Head of the Charles twice, finishing 14th during his junior season.
Teleki started his coaching career at the Potomac Boat Club in Maryland. He was also a finance intern for Team Seneca Navy, a group of Hobart rowing alums that competed and finished fourth in the World’s Toughest Row.
