Thompson averaged 16.7 ppg and 4.3 apg as Hobart won the Wendy's College Classic. In the quarterfinals against St. John Fisher, he had 12 points and three assists in an 83-58 win. Hobart topped Brockport 71-70 in the semifinals with Thompson scoring a season-high 21 points and dishing out six assists. In the 72-63 victory over Nazareth in the championship, he scored 17 points, including 15 in the second half. The Tournament MVP shot .536 from the floor, 4-of-9 from beyond the arc, and .889 from the free throw line last week.
