Eth scored the game-winning goal as the Heron soccer team took down defending national champion and top-ranked Messiah 1-0 on Saturday. Eth's header off a corner in the 31st minute led William Smith to the victory. It was her first goal this season, and it marked the first time in program history that the Herons have defeated the Falcons.
