Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

Sylvan was a member of the gold medal winning varsity eight at the Knecht Cup this weekend. Hobart dominated its heat, crossing the finish line with a time of 6:32.97, 5.02 seconds ahead of second place Bucknell.  In the semifinals, the Statesmen automatically qualified for the grand final with a first place finish. They stopped the clock at 6:09.95, 1.82 seconds ahead of Army. In the finale, Hobart cruised to a four second victory over Delaware.
