Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletics

Carter led the William Smith sailing team to a second place finish at the MAISA Women's Fall Championship in Throggs Neck, N.Y., over the weekend. Along with sophomore Anna Flaherty, she finished second in A Division. Carter guided the boat to a pair of victories. Thanks to a second place finish, the Herons secured a qualifying spot in the Women's Atlantic Coast Championships in New London, Conn.
