Arena played a key role on the defensive end of the field in a 2-0 week in Liberty League play for the Herons. She scooped up 10 ground balls and had eight Caused turnovers against Ithaca and Vassar. On Wednesday, against the 19th-ranked Bombers She had five ground balls and three caused turnovers. Against Ithaca, Arena and the defense limited Ithaca, which came into the game averaging 15.18 goals per game, to a season-low seven goals. Arena followed that up with five ground balls and five caused turnovers. against the Brewers. Arena is second on the team with 38 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers.
