Hawes graduated on Sunday with the highest cumulative grade point average for a Heron student-athlete. The recipient of the 2019 Jack Warner Cross Country Coach's Award, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 2018 and was a three-time Liberty League All-Academic Team selection.
