For the 12th time in as many career races, Riley Poisson led William Smith to the finish line. She covered the 5-kilometer course at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational in 18:45.4. Her effort placed her fourth in a field of 221 runners. The three runners ahead of her were all from Division II Roberts Wesleyan. The 19-team field also included Division I St. Bonaventure, Division II Le Moyne and nationally-ranked Geneseo.
