Flanagan became the fourth Statesman to qualify for the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship. He placed 20th in a field of 264 runners at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships at the Letchworth State Park. When he runs in Cleveland on Saturday, Flanagan will be the first Hobart harrier to compete in the NCAA Championship meet since Greg Stowell '00 ran in the 1999 meet.
