Thompson averaged a team-high 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and a team-high 4.0 assists in the Kings Point Alumni Holiday Tournament, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. In a 73-56 win over Roger Williams, he scored 11 points and grabbed a game-high seven rebounds. The following afternoon in an 83-79 overtime loss to Merchant Marine, Thompson notched a season and game-high 26 points and dished out a team-high five assists. For the week, he shot 55.6 percent from the floor (10-18), including 2-of-3 from long range, and made 15-of-16 free throw attempts.
