GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith swimming and diving team picked up its second dual meet victory of the season, defeating visiting Buffalo State 135-101 in Bristol Pool. Senior Lynn Cutter (St. Gertrude/Midlothian, Va.) led the Herons with three individual victories.

All three of Cutter's triumphs came by comfortable margins, winning the 100 free in 57.04 seconds (+2.19), the 200 free in 2:03.91 (+6.77), and the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.71 (+4.33).

William Smith dominated the distance events, sweeping the top three spots in the 500 and 1,000 free. Sophomore Ellen Ellison (Our Lady of Mercy/Farmington, N.Y.) won both events with times of 6:01.69 and 12:09.02, respectively.

Sophomore Erin Houck (State College/Pa. Furnace, Pa.) was also a double winner, bringing home the 200 individual medley (2:27.38) and the 100 butterfly (1:05.07).
