The William Smith swimming and diving team has been honored as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team, presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, for their academic performance during the 2026 spring semester.
 
The Herons were one of 714 teams from 418 institutions across all collegiate divisions. Teams were selected on the basis of their spring 2026 GPA, which had to be a 3.00 or higher.
 
William Smith was named a Scholar All-America Team for the 14th consecutive semester after its 23 student-athletes collectively earned a 3.61 GPA during the spring semester.
 
Led by second-year Head Coach Elizabeth Bernardy, the Herons were 2-6 in dual meets in 2025-26. They finished seventh in the Liberty League Championship meet, a two-place improvement over the 2025 championship.
