The 25th-ranked Hobart College squash team fell to sixth-ranked Rochester 9-0 in the Smith Squash Center tonight. The Statesmen drop to 6-8 overall, while the Yellowjackets improve to 7-3 on the season.
Hameed Ahmed, Beni Fischer, and Matt Domenick led Rochester past Hobart in the first, second and third slots, respectively. Senior Statesman Cale Forgues (Ridley College/Kemptville, Ontario) fell to Ahmed 3-0, senior Peter Hansen (Woodberry Forrest School/Middleburg, Va.) lost to Fischer 3-0, and first-year Corey Kabot (Seaholm/Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) dropped his match vs. Domenick 3-0.
The Hobart squash team will be back in action on Feb. 7, when they host Trinity (Conn.) for a match at 10 a.m.
