ORLANDO, Fla.—The William Smith College tennis team fell to Wisconsin Eau-Claire 8-1 this afternoon. The Herons slip to 3-1 overall, while the Blugolds improve to 12-6 on the season.

The lone win for William Smith came at No. 3 doubles, thanks to senior Chelsea Rauck (Columbus School for Girls/Bexley, Ohio) and sophomore Carly Sisson (Horseheads/Horseheads, N.Y.). They teamed up for the 8-2 victory over Wis.-Eau Claire's Emily Knudson and Jackie Gillespie.

The Herons will be back in action on Thurs., March 19, when they take on Illinois Wesleyan at 10 a.m.
