GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College tennis team fell to Rochester 6-3 tonight at the HWS Tennis Center, slipping to 6-3 overall. The Yellowjackets improve to 7-4 on the season.
First-year
Remy Raevsky and sophomore
Katie Serock teamed up for the only Heron doubles victory. At No. 3, they defeated Alex Goodman and Jillian Dann 8-3.
Raevsky also earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Dann at sixth singles. Sophomore
Joanie Hilton picked up William Smith's third point by topping Goodman 1-6, 6-1, 6-4 at third singles.
The Herons will be back in action tomorrow, April 1, when they travel to Nazareth for a match at 4 p.m.
