Box Score For the third week in a row, Hobart first-year running back
Steven Webb was named the Liberty League Football Co-Offensive Performer of the Week by the conference office. He is believed to be the first Statesmen to gain more than 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in the same game.
Webb produced 103 yards on the ground, including a 7-yard touchdown, and racked up a game-high 109 yards receiving, including a 61-yard TD, in a 34-14 loss to No. 21 St. John Fisher on Saturday. This is the second straight game he's gained more than 100 yards on the ground. Webb averaged 7.4 yards per rush and 36.3 yards per catch.
The Cardinals came into the game allowing opponents just 110.0 yards rushing per game and hadn't allowed a 100-yard rusher since Nov. 22, 2008.
Webb leads the Liberty League in all purpose yards (175.0/g) and scoring (16.0 ppg) and is second in rushing (93.7 yds/g).
