The No. 2 seeded Hobart College soccer team will host third-seeded RIT in a Liberty League tournament semifinal match on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 2:30 p.m.
The Statesmen clinched the No. 2 seed by defeating the Tigers 2-1 in overtime on Saturday. Senior
Michael Moulton scored the game-winner on a penalty kick 2:41 into overtime, securing the right to host the semifinal.
The Statesmen wrapped up the regular season with a 16-2-0 overall mark and a 6-2-0 record in league play. Senior
Tommy Hayes leads Hobart with six goals and three assists for 15 points. Senior
Tony Yeboah is right behind him with 14 points on six goals and two assists. Senior goalkeeper
Charlie Hale is sporting a 0.72 goals against average and a .833 save percentage.
RIT finished with a 5-2-1 conference record and a 10-6-2 overall mark. Dan Holowaty is leading the Tigers with six goals and four assists for 16 points. Danny Bloshkin has tallied a team-high five assists. Sean Conway has seen the majority of time in goal and has recorded a 0.76 goals against average and a .821 save percentage.
