For the fourth time in as many weeks, the William Smith varsity eight was named the Liberty League Boat of the Week. The Herons earned a silver medal at the Head of the Fish on Saturday.
 
William Smith posted a time of 12:04.87 on the 3,400-meter course to take second place behind defending national champion Williams. Kim Goral, Lauren Blake-Whitney, Sinead Reilly, Christine Reighley, Maggie Smith, Katie Paige, Tess Wiggins, Alyssa Trebilcock, and Elizabeth Hughes bested league rivals St. Lawrence, Skidmore, Vassar, and Rensselaer in the 17-boat field.
 
The Head of the Fish was the fourth and final event on the Herons' fall racing schedule.
