ROCHESTER, N.Y.--The William Smith tennis team fell 7-2 to Rochester in a match played this afternoon. The Herons are now 7-3 this season, while the Yellowjackets improve to 9-3.

Seniors Amanda Slack and Melissa Slack defeated their Yellowjacket opponents at No. 3 doubles, 8-4.  Sophomore Hallsey Leighton picked up another victory for William Smith, winning 6-2, 7-6 at No. 6 singles. Leighton is now 4-0 in dual matches this year.

The Herons will be back in action Friday, April 1, when they host RIT at 4 p.m.
