CHERRY HILL, N.J.—The Hobart rowing team wrapped up its Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship experience this morning. The varsity four finished fifth out of seven crews in the third level final.
Unlike Thursday's heats and repechages, oarsmen were greeted by calm water and very light wind on the Cooper River. The Statesmen rowed a solid race and found themselves in the pack through the first two thirds of the race, but couldn't keep up as the pace increased down the stretch.

Hobart will now turn its attention to England, where the Statesmen will race its varsity eight in the Reading Town and Henley Royal regattas later this month.
