NEW HAVEN, Conn.—The Hobart College squash team dropped its final match of the 2012 Yale Round Robin, falling to Wesleyan 8-1 this morning. The Statesmen are now 8-9 overall.

Junior Daniel Pelaez defeated the Cardinals' Dan Sneed at No. 2. He won his first two matches 11-9, 11-7 and then was edged 8-11, 5-11, but rallied for the victory with an 11-8 win in the fifth game. Pelaez improved to 9-8 overall this season.

The Statesmen will be back in action on Jan. 21 taking on Amherst in the first match of the 2012 Amherst/Mt. Holyoke/Smith Round Robin.
