GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College squash team lost 8-1 today to visiting Hamilton. The Statesmen, who are ranked No. 28 in the most recent College Squash Association Rankings, are now 4-6 overall. No. 21 Hamilton improves to 2-3.

Senior Edgardo Gonzalez earned the lone win for Hobart. He edged the Continentals' Josh Wolpert at No. 3. Gonzalez dropped his first two matches 11-8 and 11-6, but rallied to win the next three 11-8, 11-8, 11-8. It's his fourth victory this season.

Sophomore McGee O'Neil also had a close battle at No. 2. He was edged by Ted Black 3-2.

The Statesmen will be back in action, Jan. 18-20 when they compete in the 2013 Yale Round Robin.
